Every year at Lea Manor the senior prefects have the opportunity to create their own tie design. The tie is striped to fit with the school logo and the prefects looked at stripes in art and how these have been used in the world of Art and Design. They decided to work with eight stripes to reference the number of letters in the school name.
Each student created a design they liked as a school tie and then the voting began! After each vote the most popular designs were retained and numbers reduced until a clear winner emerged. Well done to Brittney Whitmore whose design was chosen. The ties were ordered, woven and made by a tie company and they arrived in September in time for the new term.
