The Art department, working with the Lea Manor Artist in Residence have just installed the latest group artwork in school.
Titled 'Stripes of Life', the piece contains images from different departments and all year groups across the school. Exemplary GCSE pieces and portraits from the Year 11 'Identity' project are displayed alongside studies from the recent collaboration between Science and Art, sporting events, the recent production of 'Hairspray!' and pictures from the 'Thinking chair'.
The piece represents a cross section of life at Lea Manor and is currently on display in the dining room.
This concept is one that appears throughout the school and the History department are currently working on a 'Stripes of History' piece to adorn the entrance to the department.
