Black History Month

Lea Manor High school celebrates the diversity of our students. We work hard to ensure we are an inclusive school throughout the whole year. Black History month is an opportunity for us to reflect on success and achievements here, now and throughout history.

The prefect team below organised a week of assemblies and individual tutor sessions for each year group.

During assemblies, Marianna Baptiste sang her own personal version of the song 'I know where I've been' as performed in 'Hairspray!' our production earlier this year. This was an extremely well received show which deals with many of the issues faced by black communities throughout the world. Watch Marianna's video below!
