Visits to The Apprenticeship Show, Milton Keynes

Students who had previously expressed an interest in doing an apprenticeship after their time at  Lea Manor were invited to the National Apprenticeship show on the 14th and 15th March. Lea Manor took over 100 students to this event which is the largest of its kind in the UK.

Employers from a range of sectors were on hand to offer our students advice and guidance, which our students found to be extremely valuable. We aim to ensure that students are given every opportunity to explore the world of work and are given an insight to all the possibilities that exist to them once they leave Lea Manor.

For more information about apprenticeships, please see the careers section on Frog or the careers corner in the library.

The students found the experience incredibly helpful, with Kulomo Johnson thanking staff for arranging the trip; "I now know exactly what I want to do and how to get there."
