A note from the Headteacher

Dear all,

The last term has been a busy one with Year 11 focusing on the GCSE exams which are now in full swing. The many revision sessions are a great opportunity and I hope the students will take advantage of the staff who give up their holidays to offer support. The focus and ambition of this year group is palpable and we wish them luck as the exams continue.

Rehearsals for our production of Hairspray are now a regular event and the talent of our Drama department is a joy to watch as they refine each scene and song.

STEM club continues to go from strength to strength and our entry for the Rampaging Chariots competition is starting to take shape.

Recruitment of staff is also a key focus at this time of year and we are working hard to ensure we are fully staffed in what is a national teacher shortage.

Thank you to all the staff who have worked very hard since September as we move towards our whole school vision.

I hope you all have a restful half term and return in June energised and ready for a focused finale to what has been a very successful year so far.
