Last year the winner of the Lea Manor 'What will you be? drawing competition was Bramingham Primary School and the resulting Art Day with Year 5 students was a great success.
Students worked with Lea Manor Artist in Residence Kirsten Jones to create observational drawings of flowers. The students discussed Kirsten's artwork and the stories behind it as well as ideas around why we give flowers and the symbolic meaning of different colours.
The pieces were created with permanent markers donated by Stabilo UK and coloured inks plus stamps from around the world.
The resulting drawings were amazing and will form a group piece to be placed in school.
Well done Bramingham!
